November 6, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Director of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) Scott R. Frakes announced that an inmate in his 60s died today at a hospital in Lincoln. The inmate tested positive for COVID-19 prior to entering the hospital. He also had multiple underlying health conditions.

November 5, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that four staff members with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) are positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). The staff members are employed at the following locations: Omaha Correctional Center (OCC), Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI), Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC) and the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L). November 4, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who walked away from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L) the evening of November 3, 2020, has been arrested. Authorities located Reece Stack #74348 in Lincoln and planned to return him to the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS).

Stack started serving his sentence on September 26, 2011. He is serving 19- to 20-years on a charge of second degree assault out of Dodge County. He has a...Read more

November 3, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) -- Authorities have been notified about an inmate who walked away from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L) around 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Reece Stack #74348 started serving his sentence on September 26, 2011. He is serving 19- to 20-years on a charge of second degree assault out of Dodge County. He has a tentative release date of April 30, 2022.
