Missing inmate arrested

November 4, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who walked away from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L) the evening of November 3, 2020, has been arrested. Authorities located Reece Stack #74348 in Lincoln and planned to return him to the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS).

November 3, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) -- Authorities have been notified about an inmate who walked away from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L) around 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Reece Stack #74348 started serving his sentence on September 26, 2011. He is serving 19- to 20-years on a charge of second degree assault out of Dodge County. He has a tentative release date of April 30, 2022.

November 3, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that two staff members with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) are positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). One staff member is employed at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). The second employee works at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW). Both staff members are self-isolating at home.

November 2, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Jeffrey Colgrove (52), a corporal at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI), was arrested by the Nebraska State Patrol today for unauthorized communication with a prisoner (Neb. Rev. Stat. §83-417).

TSCI staff member injured in assault

October 30, 2020 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – An inmate assaulted a staff member at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) on Thursday, October 29, 2020, resulting in serious* injuries.

The assault happened after the staff member had given the inmate multiple directives to return to his housing unit and to stop blocking the doorway. He refused. The inmate punched the staff member multiple times, knocking her to the ground. Additional personnel responded to the scene....Read more
