December 1, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L) was arrested this afternoon by the Lincoln Police Department. Officers took Brandon Imes #85877 into custody in the area of North 15th Street and Hilltop. Imes failed to return to the facility on the morning of November 26, 2020 from his job in the community.

November 30, 2020 (Omaha, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O) on November 7, 2020 has been arrested by the Council Bluffs Police Department. Michael Terry #211243 was taken into custody on Sunday, November 27, 2020 in Council Bluffs, IA.

Terry started serving his sentence on March 3, 2020. He is serving four years for two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) out of Douglas County. His...Read more

November 29, 2020 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – Todd Shade #47016, age 47, died shortly after 11:00 a.m. today at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). His sentence started on March 7, 1995. He was sentenced 33 years and four months to 100 years for two counts of first degree sexual assault on a child out of Lancaster County.

November 28, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Frank Johns #83335, age 51, died on November 27, 2020 at Bryan Medical Center-West. He was incarcerated at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP).

Johns started serving his sentence on January 6, 2016. He was sentenced 16- to 20-years on a combination of charges out of York, Hall, Buffalo, Lincoln, and Merrick counties that involved issuing bad checks, theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking.
