Process Improvement Coordinator (PIC) Eric Kasik maps out an Accounts Payable Receivable (APR) process at Central Office. Kasik has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since November 2017. Maintenance Specialist James Corwin helps an incarcerated individual cut a piece of lexan, which will be used for doors, windows and TV covers at the Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC). Corwin has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since 2004. Sanitation and Canine Corporal Amy Wander supervises incarcerated men, family members and volunteers during the recent Defy Ventures graduation at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). Wander has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since 2000. Her main job duties include supervising the population, cleaning of the facility and dogs in the Domesti-Pups program, in addition to teaching the canine class. “I enjoy watching all of these guys change,” Wander said. “It makes me feel like I’m accomplishing my job in helping to get these guys ready to reenter society.” #NDCSTeamMemberSpotlightRead more

“This is a passion for me,” Boden said. “It’s not just a job.”

Boden has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since July 2017. Her main job duties include organizing parenting classes, coordinating visits with children who don’t live in the nursery and assuring that all nursery mothers and children have their needs met.
