IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Maintenance Specialist Kevin Goodban paints trim at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP). Goodban has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since 1996. His main job duties include fixing things throughout the facility, painting and maintaining the building. “I like the people I work with,” Goodban said. “I started as an officer and worked my way through. Kolarik has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since 2006. IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Mail/Material Specialist Jenny Snell has been employed for eighteen years. Jenny’s job duties include running the mail room at the Omaha Correctional Center (OCC). She is responsible for all incoming and outgoing inter-office and US Mail. In this picture she is opening a package for inspection to ensure there is not contraband inside the package prior to it going into the institution.
