Frakes announced that a staff member at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). NDCS staff members injured in assault

April 28, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate assaulted two staff members at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP) shortly after 9:00 a.m. on April 28, 2020. Both members sustained serious* injuries.
