NDCS inmate tests positive for COVID-19

May 12, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that an inmate assigned to the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O) tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). As a result, the entire facility is under quarantine while identification is made of the person’s close contacts.

NSP inmates negative for COVID-19

May 11, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Three individuals housed at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP) have tested negative for the coronavirus (COVID-19). Lab results were received today for the three men, who were the first incarcerated individuals in the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) to be tested for COVID-19.

May 1, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) -- Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L). Allen Webster #210752 was discovered missing shortly after count was conducted at the facility this morning.
