NDCS staff members positive for COVID-19

September 22, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that four staff members with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) are positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). All four staff members are employed at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP). They are self-isolating at home.

Inmate missing from community correctional facility

September 22, 2020 (Omaha, Neb.) -- Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O). William Wilder #85279 removed the electronic monitoring device he was wearing, which was recovered about two blocks west of the facility.

OPD arrests missing inmate

September 22, 2020 (Omaha, Neb.) – Officers with the Omaha Police Department arrested an inmate who failed to return to the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O) on Sunday, September 20, 2020 after attending religious services in the community.
