December 7, 2021 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – Michael Becker #88880, age 25, died this morning at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). His sentence started on January 4, 2019. Becker was serving a 15 to 20 year sentence on charges out of Buffalo County that included robbery and second degree assault.

December 2, 2021 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – Frank Hardy #73553, age 68, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). His sentence started May 4, 2011. Hardy was serving a 75 to 95 year sentence on charges of Gage County that included first degree sexual assault of a child, third degree sexual assault of a child and visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct.

November 30, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate at the Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC) is being treated at the hospital for serious* injuries resulting from an assault by another inmate. The assault occurred yesterday (Monday) morning, in the cell shared by both men.

A staff member reported seeing one of the men repeatedly stomp on the head and torso of his cellmate. The inmate responsible for the assault was placed in restraints and escorted out of the area. The injured inmate...Read more

November 24, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who disappeared from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) is back in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS). Edgar Vidales-Ramirez, #212051, left CCC-L the evening of Thursday, November 18. On Monday, November 22, authorities advised NDCS that he was in Omaha.

November 22, 2021 (McCook, Neb.) – Charles Spray, age 35, died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at McCook, Community Hospital. He was incarcerated at the Work Ethic Camp (WEC). Spray’s sentence started February 24, 2021. He was serving a four to six year sentence on a charge of strangulation out of Dodge County.

November 18, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). Edgar Vidales-Ramirez #212051 left the facility tonight around 8:00 p.m.

Vidales-Ramirez started his sentence on June 29, 2020. He was sentenced to three years and four months on charges out of Douglas County that include assault by strangulation, child abuse and escape. He has a tentative release date of December 18, 2021.

November 18, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Atlee Mosemann, age 41, died this morning at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP). His sentence started February 2, 2017. Mosemann was serving a 16 to 20 year sentence for second degree sexual assault of a child out of Hitchcock County.

November 13, 2021 (Omaha, Neb.) – Cody Wilbourn, age 30, died on November 12, 2021 at a hospital in Omaha. He was incarcerated at the Omaha Correctional Center (OCC).

Wilbourn’s sentence started April 15, 2013. He was sentenced seven and a half to 18 years for multiple charges that included burglary, assault on an officer, assault by a confined person, evidence tampering and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest.
