November 22, 2021 (McCook, Neb.) – Charles Spray, age 35, died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at McCook, Community Hospital. He was incarcerated at the Work Ethic Camp (WEC). Spray’s sentence started February 24, 2021. He was serving a four to six year sentence on a charge of strangulation out of Dodge County.

November 18, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). Edgar Vidales-Ramirez #212051 left the facility tonight around 8:00 p.m.

Vidales-Ramirez started his sentence on June 29, 2020. He was sentenced to three years and four months on charges out of Douglas County that include assault by strangulation, child abuse and escape. He has a tentative release date of December 18, 2021.

November 18, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Atlee Mosemann, age 41, died this morning at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP). His sentence started February 2, 2017. Mosemann was serving a 16 to 20 year sentence for second degree sexual assault of a child out of Hitchcock County.

November 13, 2021 (Omaha, Neb.) – Cody Wilbourn, age 30, died on November 12, 2021 at a hospital in Omaha. He was incarcerated at the Omaha Correctional Center (OCC).

Wilbourn’s sentence started April 15, 2013. He was sentenced seven and a half to 18 years for multiple charges that included burglary, assault on an officer, assault by a confined person, evidence tampering and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. November 9, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that Craig Gable has been appointed warden of the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). Craig replaces Todd Wasmer who will become the assistant warden at the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center (DEC).

November 5, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing last month from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) has been arrested. Austin Risor #84566 is currently being held at the Lancaster County jail. He was taken into custody the morning of Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

Risor failed to return to CCC-L following his work assignment on October 28, 2021. His sentence started on September 16, 2016. He was sentenced to 10 to 11 years for numerous charges out of...Read more

November 5, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) has been returned to the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS). Michael Fitzgerald #72646 was picked up by members of the Lincoln Police Department early on the morning of November 4, 2021. He was reported missing the previous day.
