A caring mentor can make all the difference, and Corporal (Cpl.) Ashley Bauer serves this role for many new teammates at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW). A field training officer for staff beginning their NDCS careers, Cpl. Bauer is attentive to questions and proactive about sharing her corrections knowledge and experience. At NCCW, she is currently assigned to Central Laundry, which is an integral part of the facility’s operations. Thank you, Cpl. Families 4Ever event at NCCW

It was a day of games, crafts, face painting, food and outdoor fun for these kids and their moms at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW).

The Families 4Ever event allows children the opportunity to come into the facility and spend quality time with their moms. Members of the NCCW Survivors Club, along with parenting and recreation team members, host this annual event – a fun day that encourages moms and their children to maintain strong relationships! #BuildYourFuture
