Meet Bucky! He’s a graduate of the Second Chance Pups program, where dogs from local shelters and rescues are carefully matched with individuals at the Nebraska State Penitentiary. These men prepare the dogs to be adoption ready by training them in basic obedience, while providing human socialization and interaction with other dogs.

Planning for successful reentry truly takes a community! Yesterday marked the graduation of these Inner Circle members at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI).

The Inner Circle is a team of peer ambassadors who assist incarcerated individuals with questions regarding reentry and available resources. This knowledge and support is invaluable as individuals create their plans for reentry.

The establishment of the Inner Circle at TSCI is a significant milestone for the reentry team. A big thank you to all TSCI teammates whose support helped make this possible! #People #Programs

Congratulations to these men at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution for successful completion of the Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Program (IOP). This cohort began the program together in early December, and all eight graduated this month (three graduates are not pictured).

IOP encourages participants to fully engage in the program through group discussion, homework and one-on-one counseling. These men have put in the work for transformation in their lives. #Programs #BuildYourFuture
