Don’t we all like to have some fun on the job? Women employed at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) Cornhusker State Industries (CSI) Sewing Shop had a friendly competition to guess the yearly production numbers for the shop. It was a fun way to recognize the amazing work of all involved with the shop, and those with the closest guesses are pictured here.

The shop makes a variety of items that are primarily used in NDCS facilities, such as shirts, pants and pillowcases. Fun fact: In 2022, this shop produced more than 1,800 jeans and nearly 26,000 total items! #BuildYourFuture
