Women RISE to new level with programming graduation

Winter Games come to WEC

The Work Ethic Camp (WEC) recently held its Winter Games! This day-long event offers a variety of games and is an important programming opportunity for the men at WEC. It reinforces positive behavior, builds social skills and gives the men a chance to laugh and release stress. Men at NSP find positive connections through music theory group

February 10, 2020

The men at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP) who have a passion for music get to advance their skills in these music theory groups. There are currently eight music theory groups at the facility, each playing their own choice of music including rock ‘n roll, country, hip hop, Latin, Native American drum group and a Christian choir.

Group leaders teach other individuals how to play the guitar and piano during their two-hour sessions as well.
