April 17, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that three staff members with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) are positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). Two staff members are employed at the Central Office. One staff member is employed at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). All staff members are self-isolating at home.

April 16, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) on April 15, 2021 was located today by officers with the Lincoln Police Department. Officers responded to a call from a citizen and found Dawnisha Leroy #392245 just after 2:00 p.m. She was returned to the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS). April 11, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate at the Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC) went to the hospital last night for the treatment of serious* injuries resulting from an assault by another inmate. The assault occurred before 10:00 p.m. in the cell shared by both men.
