Nebraska State Penitentiary holds Father-Daughter Dance

In conjunction with Christian Heritage, The Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP) hosted a Father/Daughter Dance in the visiting room on Aug. 28. Thirteen incarcerated men completed the programming necessary to participate in this family bonding event. The fathers helped decorate the room prior to their daughters' arrival.Read more

New Program at LCC

The Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC) held its first Thinking For a Change (T4C) graduation on Sept. 5, 2017. Case Manager Rowan Taylor and Case Worker Chandell Tillman facilitated the class, engaging students and helping them believe in themselves. This class started with 13 students and all 13 graduated. Congratulations, everyone!

Success Prep Graduation

September 11, 2017

Fourteen men graduated from ReConnect, Inc.'s Success Prep class at Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) on Aug. 29. This was TSCI's 5th Success Prep class to graduate with the help of ReConnect, Inc. Executive Director LaVon Stennis-Williams. "This graduation is very special to us for numerous reasons," TSCI Associate Warden April Bulling-June said. "This is LaVon’s fist class back from brain surgery and it is our one-year anniversary with Success Prep and LaVon at TSCI. To have five graduations within one year, given all our facility has encountered this past year, is incredible." Congratulations, graduates!
