The Community Justice Center completed its 53rd Restorative Justice – Victims Impact/Empathy (Life Skills) class at the Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC) on Dec. 6 and 7. Seventy-five percent of participants rated the class as excellent. "I learned to be remorseful and see victims other than myself and feel for that person," one participant said. The Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) boasted an impressive garden haul this year.

The facility spent $246.91 on tomato plants, which produced 8,287 pounds of tomatoes; $13.32 on pepper plants, which produced 475 pounds of peppers; $29.25 on cucumber plants, which produced 3,216 pounds of cucumbers; and $15.03 on zucchini plants, which produced 2,321 pounds of zucchini.
