NDCS takes temperatures in effort to prevent transmission of COVID-19

April 14, 2020

In an effort to keep people safe and prevent the transmission of COVID-19, every person entering NDCS facilities and buildings has their temperature taken and is asked several screening questions.

Individuals who respond in the affirmative to the screening questions or have a temperature reading of 100° or higher will not be permitted inside the facility/building without the approval of a designated supervisor.

We're doing our part to #FlattenTheCurve.

NCCW contributes to COVID-19 efforts

April 10, 2020

Women at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) working for Cornhusker State Industries (CSI) have been busy producing masks. The masks are currently being distributed to the entire incarcerated population. By having everyone wear masks, it reduces the potential transmission of airborne droplets. - Nebraska State Penitentiary
