December 5, 2017 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Steven Redmond (65), #53164, died today at 10:54 a.m. at Bryan Hospital in Lincoln. He had been assigned to the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. His sentence began on November 23, 1999. He was serving a 44 – 66 years for second degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony (Kimball County).

November 30, 2017 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Michael Juranek (68), #78251, died at 8:02 p.m. at Bryan Hospital in Lincoln on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. He had been assigned to the Nebraska State Penitentiary. His sentence began on June 13, 2013. He was serving a life sentence for 1st degree murder, along with 5 – 10 years for use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony (Douglas County).
