As incarcerated individuals enter the Work Ethic Camp (WEC) in McCook, Nebraska they are greeted by inspiring messages in the intake hallway as they wait to be checked in. Warden Morello wanted it this way – to welcome them to their new home and reinforce positive messaging.

“We want them to know they’re not a number,” said Deanna Johnson, assistant warden at WEC. “These men will be our neighbors some day and we want the best for them as they work to improve their way of thinking.”
