NDCS is fortunate to have numerous outstanding teammates within its ranks.

One of those was Sgt. David Bolli. David was an invaluable member to the NDCS family, and particularly to the Nebraska State Penitentiary.

Throughout his 23-year career in corrections, David held the positions of officer, corporal, sergeant and acting lieutenant. He had a tremendous impact on those around him – never hesitating to provide guidance, advice and support to the people he supervised, as well as his peers and supervisors. In addition to sharing his knowledge, David had a great sense of humor and a kind heart.

Today, on the day of Sgt. Bolli’s funeral, we salute him and the other NDCS team members we have lost so far this year: Rolande (Rolly) Nielsen and Zachary Butcher.
