During the month of May, NDCS celebrated Correctional Officers and Teammates Month. While most activities had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions, facilities made smaller gestures to recognize teammates in the meantime. The Employee Activities Committee at the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center handed out bags of candy with a note attached to a bottle of water. They also offered free items off the snack cart and handed out ice cream bars and popsicles throughout the month. They still hope to celebrate with a barbeque at a later time. #EmployeeAppreciation #ThankYou
