NDCS Team Member Spotlight: The Excellence in Leadership awards were handed out to 10 NDCS teammates this year. One leader is Diagnostic and Evaluation Center Librarian, Tiffany Seager.

“She is extremely engaging, positive, and professional,” said Diagnostic and Evaluation Center Assistant Warden James Jansen. “Seager treats staff and inmates with respect and dignity.  A positive role model and leader for all staff.”

Seager said she enjoys coming to work and making an impact, even if it's just to one person that day. "I can be having a hectic day, but if I can take a little time out to speak with one person and help them grow, that’s why I keep coming back.”

She said her leadership skills have developed through her desire to create a connection with everyone she works with. “I take the time to know each and every person I work with. I always try to go above and beyond everyone’s expectations, no matter what the task is. DEC staff know I always have a positive attitude.”
