June 16, 2023 (Lincoln, Neb.) – David Saxton #82585, age 54, died this morning at the Reception and Treatment Center (RTC), where he was incarcerated.

Saxton’s sentence began on July 27, 2015. He was serving a 30 years to life sentence for second degree murder out of Lincoln County.

June 12, 2023 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) has been arrested by the Roseville, Michigan Police Department. Antonio Collier #87434 was taken into custody yesterday and booked into the Macomb County Jail in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Collier disappeared on May 19, 2019, when he did not return to the facility after he was granted permission to attend a local church. He started his...Read more

June 8, 2023 (Omaha, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O). Seth Horstman #71157 left his job in the community this morning and did not return to the facility. The electronic monitoring device he was wearing was found in the parking lot of his workplace.

May 31, 2023 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Three inmates assaulted multiple staff members at the Reception and Treatment Center (RTC) today, resulting in potentially serious* injuries. Five staff members went to the hospital for treatment consistent with stabbings utilizing manufactured weapons, plus injuries from being kicked and punched. May 30, 2023 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – Michael Bedel #72242, age 72, died yesterday at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI).

Bedel’s sentence began on September 17, 2010. He was serving a 25- to 30-year sentence for first degree and third degree sexual assault out of Platte County.

May 22, 2023 (Omaha, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O). Andres Willis #213587 left the facility this morning and removed his electronic monitoring device approximately one mile west of the center.

Lichtenberg’s sentence began on October 20, 2021. He was serving an 18- to 24-year sentence for attempted first degree sexual assault of a child out of Douglas County.
