One of the first projects completed at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) concerned new hire clothing issue.  The project team was able to reduce errors in issuing clothing to new hires and make sure that all new hires were had uniforms the very first day. It has also reduced the time it takes staff to complete ordering.  “The process improvement project for new hire clothing has streamlined and shortened my time involved with receiving shipments and distributing to new hires, “ said Lisa Haussler, staff assistant I. “ It has helped free up my time to get to other tasks.”  #COEWeek
