Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Margaret Chipendo assesses a patient at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP).
Chipendo has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since August of 2017. Her job duties include taking care of medical needs and providing care throughout the clinic.
“The science of medicine is unique and evolves all the time,” Chipendo said. I want to gain understanding of it and help people. I love my job and what I do.”
