Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility (NCYF) team members held an Employee Positive Impact Council (EPIC) meeting on Feb. 27.
In the meeting, Training Specialist Garrett Cook discussed the morale of new staff going through the Staff Training Academy (STA), new things going on at STA and how NCYF can help with the transition from STA to NCYF. Staff also discussed the newly implemented SMART Goals, ideas for Corrections Appreciation Month and NCYF strategies on retention and engagement.
