The Community Justice Center completed its 64th Restorative Justice – Victims Impact/Empathy (Life Skills) class at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP) on Dec. 23.
Over 90 percent of class participants came away with who their victims really are, the impact their decisions have on those victims/communities and how to take care of their “emotional hygiene."
Seventy-three percent of participants rated the class excellent.
"It helped me understand different opinions and aspects in life through others eyes," one participant said.
