The Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) held an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Core Math class graduation on Sept. 19.
Thirteen incarcerated men completed the 12-week course, taught by Matt Bliemeister. This is the second of three courses offered by ABC.
To participate, students were required to achieve an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-hour certification in general industries and an OSHA 10-hour certification in construction. Each graduate is now eligible to attend ABC’s Core Curriculum course starting later this month.
