January 14, 2025 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) has been arrested in Lincoln, Nebraska. Joseph Jarman #218857 was taken into custody Sunday, January 12, 2025, by the Nebraska State Patrol. He is currently being held at the Lancaster County Jail in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Jarman left the facility without authorization on October 18, 2024. He started his sentence on July 23, 2024. He was sentenced to 36 months and 90 days for attempted burglary and attempted criminal trespass out of Douglas County.
CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
