A caring mentor can make all the difference, and Corporal (Cpl.) Ashley Bauer serves this role for many new teammates at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW). A  field training officer for staff beginning their NDCS careers, Cpl. Bauer is attentive to questions and proactive about sharing her corrections knowledge and experience.
