Accepting Applications: Vocational and Life Skills (VLS) partners
Skills training, job seeking, housing, community support….these are resources that set individuals up for success as they reenter the community. Our Vocational and Life Skills (VLS) partners play an important role in this work. In fact, more than 9,400 individuals have received reentry support through the VLS program since 2015!
The next grant cycle will begin in July, and applications are now available. If you know of a community-based organization that provides vocational and life skills programming and services to individuals who are incarcerated, recently released, or serving a period of supervision on parole or probation, spread the word: https://corrections.nebraska.gov/about/rehabilitation/vocational/life-skills-programs
