Recently the NDCS Honor Guard traveled to Reno, Nevada, to attend the Correctional Peace Officers (CPO) Foundation Annual Memorial Ceremony. The event honored correctional professionals who have lost their lives in the line of duty, as well as survivors of other incidents from across the country.

During this event, the Honor Guard proudly accepted a Lifetime Sponsor plaque on behalf of the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. Additionally, a huge thanks goes out to all NDCS teammates who helped raise funds to submit a check for the Community Corrections Center - Lincoln (CCC-L) to be a Lifetime Sponsor of the CPO Foundation. CCC-L is the sixth NDCS facility to receive this designation.
