Members of the NDCS Honor Guard were recently in Columbus, Ohio, for the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation (CPOF) Annual National Memorial Ceremony where they honored the families of fallen correctional staff for 2020. They also presented a $5,000 check to the CPOF for a lifetime membership for the Tecumseh State Correctional Institute. These funds will be used for the Catastrophic Assistance Program, which provides financial support to correctional staff and their families due to catastrophic illness, injury or severe financial hardship.
