Congratulations to Supervisory Sergeant Brock Juracek for being selected as the 2019 Employee of the Year for the Operations Division at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP). Juracek began his career with NDCS in May 2017 as an intern and then moved to full time status in March 2019. Juracek consistently exhibits professionalism, dependability and attention to detail. His fellow teammates and supervisors know they can rely on him to complete any assigned detail with little to no supervision. His experience has provided him with a well-rounded knowledge of the facility, allowing him to work all posts, including duties as an assistant shift supervisor. Juracek’s positive attitude aids in his daily communication with staff as well as the incarcerated population. He does an all-around excellent job and is a valuable asset.
