FOP, NDCS and DAS sign Letter of Agreement
DAS Director Jason Jackson, NDCS Director Scott Frakes and Mike Chipman, president of FOP Lodge 88 signed a Letter of Agreement today providing protective service staff members with a significant pay increase as well as opportunity for performance-based step incentives. This agreement was the result of earnest and fruitful negotiations between state representatives and the union.
DAS Director Jackson told those in attendance at today’s signing that the agreement represented a significant investment on the part of Governor Ricketts, and his recognition of the role played by those working the front lines in correctional services. He also thanked the members of the negotiating team for their hard work.
