IN THE SPOTLIGHT:  Assistant Warden Trish Bernhards takes a call at the Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility (NCYF).  Bernhards has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since 1991. Her job duties include overseeing programming, working closely with unit management and custody team members in day-to-day operations and making the facility run smoothly.  “If anybody has the capability of change, it’s this population at this age,” Bernhards said. “If we can provide them the opportunity to make changes, that will help them have better opportunities in life.”  #NDCSTeamMemberSpotlight
