Corporal Tina Parks and Corporal Jeremy Arent review key logs and teletype print outs in the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center’s (DEC) central control.
Parks has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) for 24 years and Arent has been with NDCS for four years. Their main job duties include keeping logs of the entire facility, ensuring counts are correct and processing new incarcerated individuals.
“I like being assigned to Central Control because I like being part of a team,” Arent said. “Working Central gives me a chance to work with everyone on the shift.”
