Team Member Spotlight:

Estela Finn serves a key role in NDCS as a translator. She provided much needed assistance to the state during the 2019 flooding and was honored this year for her “Excellence in Leadership” during COVID-19. Finn was instrumental in making sure the agency’s key messages were communicated to Spanish-speaking members of the incarcerated population. She has proven to be an invaluable resource to the department and to the state, lending her talents to situations that might otherwise require outside resources to address. Finn says the thing she likes most about her job is that it makes her feel useful and that she contributes to the team at NDCS.
