Breaking in a wild horse is no easy task. It takes time, dedication, patience and most of all, compassion. Recently, men and women at the Omaha Correctional Center (OCC) and Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) had the chance to see first-hand the challenges—and rewards—that come from working with horses.

Riding High Ministries partnered with Prison Fellowship to present a once-in-a-lifetime event for the men and women at NCCW and OCC. Founded by Todd and Leslie Pierce in 2002, Riding High Ministries is a faith-based organization that uses the live demonstration to illustrate the powerful relationship that individuals can have with God.

Many men and women left the events with smiles on their faces and hope in their hearts. A big thank you to Prison Fellowship and Riding High Ministries for bringing this event to NCCW and OCC! #MakeADifference
