Men from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha have been volunteering their time to give back to the community through Habitat for Humanity. They recently worked on a house in Omaha, replacing damaged areas to make the house livable for a deserving family. Many of the guys volunteer to help with these projects every Saturday.

One participant, who has volunteered every weekend since May, was asked why he participates in these projects. “I volunteer for Habitat for Humanity to better my skills in construction and do something positive for the community,” he said.
