From sea to shining sea, the NDCS Honor/Color Guard team has traveled many miles across the U.S. and could be activated at any time, to go where they are needed.

Their presence celebrates the memory of NDCS team members who have passed away and shows respect for our country through ceremonies that honor the state and national flags. Some of the events they attend include NDCS graduation ceremonies, facility dedications, groundbreaking ceremonies, staff retirements, community parades, memorial services for active or retired NDCS team members, conferences, and ceremonies that support local and other state correctional departments.
