Daughter of NDCS team member receieves 2018 Susan M. Hunter Scholarship

The Association of State Correctional Administrators (ASCA) recently awarded their 2018 Susan M. Hunter Scholarship recipients. The daughter of a Nebraska Department of Correctional Services team member was one of the recipients.

Congratulations to Paytra TeBrink, daughter of Information Technology Administrator Ron TeBrink!

Paytra is currently attending Wayne State College and planning to be a math teacher. She attended Milford High School in Milford, Neb., where she maintained a 4.0 Grade Point Average and was valedictorian of her class.

“I hope that my passion and natural want to help will ultimately ignite a fire within every individual,” Paytra wrote in her scholarship application essay. “I want to influence every student that comes through my classroom doors.”
