Creighton University students discuss moral philosophy with incarcerated youth at NCYF

Students from Creighton University’s philosophy department have been visiting incarcerated youth at the Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility (NCYF) to discuss moral philosophy.
During their sessions, students individually met with NCYF youth and discussed questions including: What is forgiveness? What acts can be forgiven? What is trust? If you could teach everyone in the world one idea, what idea would have the biggest positive impact on humanity? Is it more important to help yourself, help your family, help your society or help the world? And what should be the goal of humanity?
This is the second year that NCYF has worked with the university. The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) looks forward to continued success in partnering with Creighton in the future.
