The Corrections Leadership Scholarship Program—a partnership between Peru State College and NDCS—provides a unique opportunity for students to gain real-world experience paired with high-quality academic learning at Peru State College’s newly renovated Criminal Justice Learning and Engagement Opportunity Center.

Students accepted into the program receive $15,000 per year in scholarship awards, as well as a paid position at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution while completing their degree.

Upon completion of the program, students will have earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, amassed extraordinarily valuable experience working firsthand in the criminal justice field and developed the skills to be a leader as a NDCS team member.
