CJC Completes 2nd Restorative Justice Class at NCCW

On June 14, The Community Justice Center (CJC) completed its second ninety minute “Anger/Emotional Hygiene Session” at Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW).  One hundred percent of class participants rated the class excellent, with sixty percent showing some level of empathy and/or insight in the effects their actions on their victims/community.  When asked how the session was helpful, two participants said, "Identifying the emotions that come before anger and learning how to cash my $1,000,000 check (emotional hygiene), and "It helped me understand that anger is a secondary emotion.”
