These men at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) have taken the first step to build a successful construction career.

As graduates of the OSHA general industry course, they are ready to master additional courses offered by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), including applied construction math and other core curriculum classes that will grow their foundation in the field.

ABC’s programs include training in a variety of high-demand crafts: carpentry, construction technology, electrical, HVAC, masonry, plumbing and welding. The programs are offered through the Vocational and Life Skills (VLS) program, which provides men and women with employment and educational opportunities, skills training, job seeking, housing and other key resources while they are incarcerated, discharged from prison within the past eighteen months, or serving a period of supervision on parole or probation. #BuildYourFuture #Reentry
