Facility Maintenance Specialist Isaac Berry was a recipient of the Excellence in Mentoring Award at the NDCS Annual Awards. Berry is a Field Training Officer (FTO), assists new team members during FTO week and volunteers to instruct training during in-service at the Staff Training Academy.

Berry provides excellent peer-to-peer mentoring. New team members and veterans all trust Berry for his positivity, guidance and extensive knowledge. He is able to teach team members in an upbeat way, making sure they fully understand what is expected of them. Also, he is a member of the Corrections Emergency Response Team.
