TRANSFORM Nebraska aims to address the complex needs of individuals within the correctional system, promoting personal growth, behavior change, and ultimately increasing the rates of successful reintegration into society after incarceration.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) offers more than 150 job classifications. People who choose NDCS come from a variety of school and career backgrounds from criminal justice to health and wellness, manufacturing, food service, banking, military, construction and everything in-between.
Whether it's educational opportunities, vocational training, mental health support, substance use treatment or life skills development, no matter where you are in NDCS, you will play an essential role in reinforcing positive behaviors and preparing individuals for a successful life in their communities.
