NDCS was proud to join yesterday’s groundbreaking with Ybor, marking an important step forward in expanding reentry pathways across Nebraska. What an incredible event to kick off Second Chance Month!

Director Rob Jeffreys shared how this project reflects TRANSFORM Nebraska — creating meaningful work opportunities, strengthening workforce pipelines, and changing lives through second chances.

This new restaurant will give individuals leaving incarceration a direct path into real careers, supported by the pre‑release training and education already happening inside our facilities. We’re honored to be part of this transformational work.
